Discovery High School has a partnership with Lehman College, which offers pre-college academics for students from Discovery, primarily assisting juniors and seniors in preparing for college while providing insight into the college experience.
Additionally, Discovery has a college counselor for seniors, who offers college-based guidance, aids in decision-making regarding college selections, assists students in applying for scholarships, and helps with internships like co-op tech.
Discovery also provides resources to support career and technical education programs, assisting students to get ready for both college and their future careers.
Discovery provides various college-level opportunities, such as advanced placement courses and college now.
My teachers are open to answering any college questions, and provide resources that help prepare students for college in the future. I feel like I have the support at Discovery to help me continue with my education and the guidance from my teacher.
Whenever I have questions about college, I know I can confide in my teachers to not only answer questions but also provide me with opportunities that can help me in college in the future.
